How Do I Choose Replacement Windows Glass?
- The double pane windows have two panes of glass with an air pocket between them.
- Triple pane windows feature three thick glass panes and two air pockets so heat can escape from your home.
- Fillers based on argon or krypton gas will greatly decrease the heat transfer from the outside to the inside and vice versa.
- Low E-Glass type glass can reflect heat rather than absorb it.
- Warm-edge spacers reduce heat transfer around the perimeter of the window.
